Dave is an experienced business owner, director, and senior manager with a diverse background spanning retail, hospitality, multimedia, education, biotechnology, and business support. He has held full budgeting and P&L responsibility across PLCs, limited companies, and sole trader ventures, and has significant international business experience in the USA, Europe, India, and the Far East.
He currently serves as the National Contract Manager for Business Wales, leading the development, management, and delivery of the pan-Wales Business Wales Service. He previously managed the Wales-wide start up and growth service under earlier Welsh Government contracts.
Dave’s sector experience includes leadership roles in biotechnology as General Manager of Genesis Biosciences LLP, where he oversaw marketing, sales, and UK laboratory operations and contributed to major product development and acquisition activity. As the founding Managing Director of Media4Creative Ltd, he built a multidisciplinary marketing agency and several successful sub-brands. Earlier in his career, Dave spent 16 years at Peacocks PLC, progressing through senior roles including General Manager and Marketing Manager during its expansion from 25 stores to a £1bn, 700-store retail group, and was part of both the MBO and IPO teams.
