Ditsy Puffin Designs pops up in Haverfordwest shop

Unique, local gifting business, Ditsy Puffin Designs, has received a grant from Pembrokeshire County Council to expand their product line and trade online. An exciting collaboration between two Pembrokeshire based companies, Right Price Print and Pembrokeshire Moments, Ditsy Puffin Designs brings together all the best elements of local artisan design work.

Expanding to trade online has significantly increased the reach of the business and afforded more customers the opportunity to purchase a unique, Pembrokeshire design.

Founders Barbara Phillips and Rachel Mullet have been testing their product line with local customers at a pop-up-shop location in Haverfordwest prior to launching their fully stocked online shop. Rachel and Barbara said about their experience at Shared Spaces Haverfordwest, “The opportunity to test trade at a pop-up-shop and understand how our product fares in the market was so valuable as it gave us great insight into our online product offer.”

Their range of artisan products was designed with the support of Ancient Connections, a cross border heritage and tourism project run by Pembrokeshire County Council.

Gareth Thomas, Assistant Community Manager for Shared Spaces Haverfordwest, said about their pop-up shop:

“Shared Spaces Haverfordwest provides opportunities to local entrepreneurs to test-trade and we were pleased to host Ditsy Puffin Designs who brought their latest line of products to our test-trading unit to add to our festive offering this season.”

Shared Spaces Haverfordwest offers opportunities to test trade, but also provides 1-2-1 business support, co-working facilities, and meeting rooms.

Shared Spaces Haverfordwest is funded by Third Sector Resilience Fund for Wales Phase 2 Scheme, administered by WCVA. Business in Focus delivers this project in partnership with Pembrokeshire County Council.
