Are you an experienced Business Advisor looking to support more clients who are just starting their entreprenurial journey?

We currently have a number of start up clients that we need to support with business advice, planning, forecasting to ensure they are suitable to apply for a Start Up Loan.

You will work with the client on a 1-2-1 basis using your significant experience and knowledge to help them through the application process and be on-hand to answer any questions they have along the journey.

It will be essential that you have:

  • Introductory Certificate in accountancy / finance, e.g. AAT level 1 (or equivalent)
  • 2 day Kaplan financial course OR committed to achieving accountancy/finance certificate/course in 1 year of appointment
  • Experience of running/managing a business OR significant experience at senior management level, with responsibility and influence for business strategy and operations that employed staff and operated: OR Proven experience of delivering general business advice* to a diverse portfolio of start-up and existing businesses that: Achieved turnover exceeding £500k per annum; AND/OR Experienced 10% growth** in turnover in 2-5 years

or do you have:

  • An advisory qualification, e.g. ILM Level 5 Business Support, SFEDI Level 5, (or equivalent)/li>
  • OR Management Qualification, e.g. ILM Level 5 Management (or equivalent)/li>
  • OR Degree level business qualification

    • You will need to achieve a minimum of three business loan drawdowns a month.
