Microbusiness owners looking for support and training to get online can now apply for over £1000 worth of training and equipment, thanks to a new digital support package launched by Business in Focus through its Focus Futures project. Although you need to be quick, as applications close on 25th November.
The ‘Connect to Digital with Support’ package is designed for those with microbusinesses that have faced barriers preventing them from moving online, with applicants having the chance to receive up to £995 to purchase equipment, as well as £500 for training or support.
The training package can be used for everything from accounting and business skills, through to social media training and website development. For those in need of IT equipment to help them with their digital journey, the £995 can go towards business equipment such as a laptop, desktop or mobile phone.
Business in Focus Chief Executive, Phil Jones said:
“We’re really excited to have launched the digital inclusion campaign that will provide support to sole traders and small businesses and help them go digital. Through this campaign, we want to be able to help people develop their skills and purchase appropriate equipment to be able to bring their businesses to a digital platform.”
